2473 at Wing Field Day

Posted by on September 11, 2016

Today, cadets from 2473 attended the annual wing field day; a competition between all squadrons from Middlesex wing. The day is one of the most important in the year as it gives a chance for cadets to represent their squadron to their wing. Competitions include; drill, banner drill, band, first aid, aircraft recognition, and a vehicle pull. An all-round very active and demanding day! Despite the tiring day, cadets left with their heads held high as on the whole 2473 has improved from last year. A special mention to the aero-modelling team and the band percussion team who won their respective events and will go on to represent the wing at region field day.
