Every year 2473 Squadron attend the May Day Fair in Southgate and this year was no different.
Alongside the usual tombola and paper planes, the cadets held a raffle for a brilliant cake baked by one of the members of the 2473 committee. The raffle was won by a young family who look like they will enjoy it.
Congratulations to the young family who won the chocolate brownie sweetie cake. I wanted it to go to a family & seeing such happy faces has made my day.

A big thank you from the committee for all who helped make this such a success and a lot of fun! The cadets took part in a drill display as well as a traditional May Pole dance.
A special thanks to those who generously donated items for the tombola and to our very own master baker for the wonderful cake! Children (young and old) were busy making paper planes and it was great to see!
What a great day! So lovely for parents, cadets and voluntary staff to participate in such a fantastic community event. Put the date in your diary for 2020! Caroline Couzens (Chairman)
