The team had great success at the Inter-Squadron Cross Country. With 5 Cadets representing the Squadron we really did reach for the sky. In the Junior Womens event Cpl Nielson came 4th. In the Under 17 Boys Cdt Anosike represented the squadron to a high standard completing the 3 mile course. In Under 15 Boys the team had great success. Finishing in 1st place was Cdt Lebeau, in 4th was Cdt White finishing the team off in 8th place was Cdt Hoare. The Under 15 Boys team entered their event with 44 other people in their category and although they had a small team they won the overall for the Under 15 Boys. The team and squadron would like to thank Mr Baillon for his enourmous effort to train the team for the event. Due to the fantastic performance by the Cadets from the squadron and the efforts of Mr Baillon a total of 3 Cadets will be representing the squadron at Wing Level. After previous success in other sport events 2473 is being recognised as a very capable sports squadron with the Wing Commander even noting the success of more recently formed squadrons.
